We are committed to:
Collaborating fully with all members of the project team including clients and suppliers to develop and adopt best LEED practices for sustainable development.
Designing and constructing homes which are well crafted, comfortable and don’t require significant amounts of energy to produce.
Our design solutions are effective by the removal or reduction of any environmental impacts associated with a product or a service at the design stage – e.g. by using less materials and energy; eliminating the use of toxic materials by substituting non-toxic materials; designing a product so that it can be disassembled at the end of its useful life and its components re-used or recycled, etc.
This can be achieved by:
* Local sourcing of labor and materials to reduce energy consumption.
* Working in Partnership with suppliers, and customers to promote effective and meaningful environmental best practice.
* Adopting measures to prevent pollution and adverse impact on the environment and local community.
* Training staff, suppliers and contractors to enhance awareness of environmental and socially responsible practices.
* Minimizing waste, consider where possible the use of recycled materials and re-use and recycling where ever possible.
* Adopting energy efficient processes.
* Balancing economic viability with environmental and social responsibility to provide lifetime design solutions.
* Using and developing a management system to demonstrate continual improvements in environmental and health and safety performance.
* Prudent use of natural resources and social responsibility which recognizes the needs of all people; and effective protection of the environment and to meet the
needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
